Investigator, journalist and theatre critic, writes in the magazines Ñ, Caras y Caretas and Noticias. She is author of Eduardo Pavlovsky: “siempre voy por el borde” (Capital Intelectual, 2008), Alfredo Alcón: “sigo con miedo de salir a escena” (C.I., 2007) and --with Pablo Zunino--, Teatro del siglo XX (Paidós, 2001). She was in charge of the area of theater in Clarín Espectáculos (1992-2005). She has published articles and essays in Antología del Teatro Argentino and Escenarios de dos mundos (Spain, 1992), Clásicos de Argentores (Argentina, 2006), and in the magazines Teatro, CELCIT,  Picadero, Teatro del Sur, Espacio, Latin American Theatre Review, Primer Acto, El Público and Conjunto. She participated in conferences in Argentine, Spain, Armenia and Egypt. Invited to international festivals in Cadiz, Madrid, Bogota, Avignon and Milan, she was awarded with de Leonidas Barletta and the diploma of merit Konex.  She has been jury member of the prizes Maria Guerrero, Gregorio de Laferrère, ACE, Clarín Espectáculos, Saulo Benavente and Argentores.

Olga Cosentino was born on May 15, 1943, in San Cayetano, in the Province of Buenos Aires. In 1967 she graduated as Master of Arts in Literature in the Universidad del Salvador, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She taught Spanish Literature and Latin Literature in high school and university, before devoting to cultural investigation journalism and theatre critique, her specialty since the ‘80s.

Activities
She wrote reviews, critical analyses and articles in the Entertainment supplement and in the cultural magazine Ñ of Clarín newspaper of Buenos Aires.
She was in charge of the Theatre area in the cultural magazine Caras y Caretas, which is directed by historian Felipe Pigna.
She was a  member of the Movimiento de Apoyo al Teatro (MATe) which is directed by Roberto Cossa.
She was the Director of the Theatre Area of Clarín newspaper of Buenos Aires, between 1992 and 2005.
She was editor (from 1981 to 1989) and main director (1995) of the magazine Teatro, which Teatro General San Martín edits, dependent on the Culture Department of the Government of Buenos Aires.
She was second director of Entertainment in El Cronista newspaper and collaborated as theatrical critique in the newspapers Página 12, La Razón and Sur.
She has integrated the Advisory Council of Teatro Nacional Cervantes.

Publications
She is the co-author, with critic Pablo Zunino, of the book Teatro del siglo XX – El cansancio de las leyendas (Paidós, 2001).
She is the author of the essay "Los corroídos pilares de la sociedad", in the book Ibsen y la modernidad hispanoamericana, edited by Osvaldo Pellettieri (Ed. Galerna, Buenos Aires, 2006).
She has published works in the books Antología del Teatro Argentino and Escenarios de dos mundos, (INAEM, Spain, 1992).
She has prologued books like Clásicos de Argentores Tomo III (Argentores, Buenos Aires, 2005) or Buenos Aires - Cinq siècles d'un mythe reinvente, of Michel Bolasell (Editions Trabucaire, France, 2007).
She’s published articles and essays in Argentine magazines as Teatro CELCIT, Picadero, Espacio y Teatro del Sur; in Latin American Theatre Review, edited by the University of Kansas (USA); in the magazine Conjunto, edited by Casa de las Américas of Cuba, and in the Spanish Primer Acto and El Público; of the latter one she was a correspondent in Argentina up to the closing of this publication, in 1992.
She has written in different publications critical reviews, opinion reviews and interviews to figures like Tadeusz Kantor, Rafael Alberti, Mikis Theodorakis, Paco de La Zaranda, Jorge Lavelli, Lluís Pasqual, Ricard Salvat, Carlos Gorostiza, Juan Carlos Gené, Marilú Marini, Roberto Plate, Robert Wilson, Isabelle Adjani, Alfredo Arias, Griselda Gambaro or Roberto Cossa amongst other relevant names of the contemporary scene.
She has been special correspondent for the coverage of different cultural international events like Ballet Kirov of the Mariinski Theatre of Saint Petersburg (Russia), Fair of the Book of Guadalajara (Mexico) or the inauguration of a INCAA Cinematographic Room in the Jubany Base of the Argentine Antarctic Ocean Sector.
She was in charge of the journalistic coverage of festivals and theatrical national and international meetings in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Bogotá, Santiago of Chile, Mexico, Madrid, Cadiz, Caen, Milan, Taormina, Yerevan and Berlin.

The other activities
She has been summoned as juror of prestigious prizes for the scenic Argentine activity like Maria Guerrero, ACE, Clarín Espectáculos, the Gregorio de Laferrère, the Premio Argentores or the Saulo Benavente, which grants the Argentine subsidiary of the International Theatre Institute.

The Prizes
She was distinguished with the Leónidas Barletta Prize to theatrical critique.
