Konex Award 2011: Documentary
He was born on December 24th, 1960 in Banfield. He graduated Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and studied Film Directing at the Centro Experimental de Realización Cinematográfica (ENERC). His films delve into the crosses between fiction–reality and literature-cinema. Among them we can mention El paisaje invisible (The invisible landscape -2003), El árbol (The Tree-2006), La orilla que se abisma ( The river bank that becomes abysmal -2008), La madre (The Mother- 2009) and Elegía de abril (April’s Elegy -2010). As a teacher, serves on the Faculty of Social Sciences UNLZ and Faculty of Fine Arts at the UNLP. Outside the country has given lectures, workshops and seminars at universities in Spain, Italy and the United States. He has published storybooks Los días vacíos (1990), La voz del sospechoso (1993) and Pasto del Fuego (2008).
