Argentina feels proud of him for his acting talent, his presence on the stage and his beautiful voice. In his long professional life in the theatre, the cinema and on TV, the following performances stand out: In Theatre: “Look Back in Anger”, “El farsante más grande del mundo”, Orfeo desciende”, “The Death of a Salesman”, “Lorenzaccio”, “A view from the Bridge”, “The Witches of Salem”, “The Zoo Story ”, “Hamlet”. In movies: “El amor nunca muere”, “Una viuda difícil”, “Un guapo del 900”, “Martín Fierro”, “El Santo de la Espada”, “Güemes”, “La Mafia”, “Los siete locos”, “Boquitas pintadas”, “Nazareno Cruz y el Lobo”. On TV, his interpretation of Holofernes in “Judith”, by Hebbel was remarkable. He lived in Spain, where he successfully acted in plays such as: “El zapato de raso”, “A Electra le sienta el luto”, “Don Alvaro y la fuerza del Sino”, “Eduardo II” and “Ciudad del Rey”. After he got the Diamond Konex Award his outstanding artistic career went on and he acted in theater: “Israfel”, “Eduardo II”, “Romance de lobos”, “Los caminos de Federico”, “Peer Gynt”, “Escenas de la vida conyugal” and “Richard III”. In the movies he starred in: “Que es el otoño”, “Saverio el cruel” and “Cohen vs. Rossi “. On TV, he appeared in: “Misión Rescate”, “Por el nombre de Dios” and “Vulnerables”. Besides he has also directed some plays: “Herramientas”, “Final de Partida”, “Shakespeare, todavía”, “En la soledad de los campos de algodón” and “Los días felices”. Alcón received among other prizes: Ace de Oro (1992), “Martín Fierro” on several occasions, “García Lorca” – España (1990), “Figura Latinoamericana” at the Festival de Teatro de Colombia (1992) , “María Guerrero” ( 1989 and 1991) and Trinidad Guevara.
